Turning Research into Policy Action
On 3 September 2026, the Centre for Inclusive and Accountable Governance (CIAG) opened a two-day training on Developing Policy Briefs on Gender-Responsive Electoral Code of Conduct Reform for the Women-Led Electoral Reform Taskforce.
The training focuses on strengthening participants’ ability to transform research and evidence into clear and practical policy recommendations that can contribute to discussions on electoral reform and women’s political participation.
The sessions support participants in understanding electoral systems, identifying barriers affecting women’s participation, and developing evidence-based recommendations that can contribute to policy and reform processes.
Through this initiative, CIAG continues to strengthen women’s capacity to engage meaningfully in electoral reform discussions and contribute to policy processes.
