Strengthening Communication and Public Engagement

The second day of CIAG’s Election Readiness Workshop focused on interactive and collaborative learning for women candidates preparing to participate in electoral processes.

During the sessions, participants worked together in groups to refine and present their individual profiles. The practical exercises created an opportunity for women candidates to strengthen their ability to communicate their profiles clearly and confidently in preparation for public engagement.

The collaborative approach also encouraged teamwork, participation, and peer interaction among the candidates. Through these activities, participants developed practical communication skills while gaining experience in presenting themselves and engaging with others in a structured setting.

The session formed part of CIAG’s continued efforts to strengthen the preparedness and participation of women candidates and support their effective engagement in Somaliland’s political and electoral processes.
