Preparing women to lead with confidence

CIAG’s Leadership Development program develops and mentors emerging women leaders by equipping them with essential leadership and advocacy skills. The program builds the confidence women need to navigate and address systemic barriers to decision-making roles.

Program objectives

Build practical leadership and advocacy skills.
Strengthen confidence for participation in decision-making.
Support women to navigate systemic, cultural, and institutional barriers.
Connect emerging leaders through mentorship and professional networks.

Expected and achieved outcomes

More than 150 women leaders trained across CIAG initiatives.
70 young women mobilized and trained as aspiring future leaders.
Stronger networks of women leaders and male allies across Somaliland.
