Strengthening Women’s Leadership at the Grassroots
The Centre for Inclusive and Accountable Governance (CIAG) held a meeting in Kod Buur district of Hargeisa, bringing together local women and female candidates to discuss women’s participation in leadership and political processes.
The meeting provided a platform for local women to share their experiences and engage with female candidates on their role and participation in the upcoming elections.
Discussions also highlighted the importance of women’s leadership at the grassroots level and its contribution to promoting more inclusive governance and decision-making.
Through community-level engagement and dialogue, CIAG continues to support opportunities for women to participate meaningfully in leadership and contribute to more inclusive and representative governance.
