CIAG conducted a comprehensive Governance and Accountability Workshop focused on building capacity for ethical leadership and transparent governance practices.The workshop covered:
• Principles of accountable governance
• Anti-corruption frameworks and practices
• Transparency in public institutions
• Citizen oversight mechanisms
• Ethical decision-making in leadership
Participants included emerging leaders, civil society activists, and youth representatives who will serve as advocates for good governance in their communities and institutions.
The training emphasized practical tools and approaches that participants can apply immediately in their work. Case studies from Somaliland and other contexts provided valuable lessons and inspiration.
This capacity building is essential to CIAG's mission of strengthening accountability and integrity in public institutions across Somaliland.
